The W3C Updates HTML5 to HTML 5.1

The W3C or World Wide Web consortium has released the official HTML 5.1 specification. This is the fifth major revision, and first minor revision to the core language of HTML, and will replace HTML5 as recommended by the W3C.

As of November 1st, HTML 5.1 is the official standard, and is an incremental upgrade dealing with minor items left out in the original version of HTML 5.
