Employees are more valuable than ever. The recent uptick in the economy means there will be more competition than ever for your best employees. According to a survey earlier this year by a leading cloud-based solutions company, 54% of employees say they regularly use video conferencing tools for communication. Of those, 70% say they use free services like Skype and Google Hangouts, and 23% say they use paid enterprise services.
The study also shows that 73% of people say that they are more attentive and engaged on video conference calls, than they are on audio-only meetings. Furthermore, 82% of respondents said that they also make a greater effort to prepare for video calls.
